All Dressed Up!

I think I'm in a blogging rut. I seem to read everyone's blogs and yet I drag my feet when it comes to up loading pics and writing mine.  I need some blogger motivation... Anyways, How are you guys?? Did you have a fabulous Easter like we did?? I think we had an Easter week! Sienna loved getting dressed up and going on egg hunts. After every hunt she would say "Ok lets go organize my treats!" Then she would sort the treats out into different types. Maybe one day she will declare that she is going to organize her room or better yet the house! Wishful thinking...

This was her posing

Baby Twinkle Toes!!

Scarly and Mimi

Along with our Easter adventures, we have been trying to change our eating and activity habits by trying new foods and physical activities. On Sunday evening, we took a family walk up to our park. (total its about a three mile walk). Scarlett swung her chubby thighs and clapped her hands the whole time in the front of the stroller while Sienna wanted to jog along side the stroller. She would take my hand and say "Come on Mommy! Lets run together!" I guess she has heard me talk about running because she said she was running miles. Both Hubby and Sienna smiled politely through their first turkey burger. (Propts to Hubby for seasoning it so well even though he'll tell you other wise.) They weren't as opened minded about the spaghetti squash the next night. Hubby made himself a sandwich and Sienna only ate the sauce. You win some and lose some. I think I owe them some pizza now:)

Well I hope everyone has a fantastic week! Thanks for reading:)

The Latest

Hi Strangers!! I feel like I haven't posted anything in a really long time. I guess I'm getting lazy.... On a side note. I read some where the other day that blogs were narcissistic and that as a blogger I just love myself so much that I think everyone wants to know everything about me. Well yea!! Just kidding:) Thanks for reading about my normal, unoriginal life. This has been such a fun way for me to document our escapades. Now on to the show....

Spring has Sprung!
Whew! I can always tell when spring is here when Sienna's face swells up like she was in a bar fight, our cars and patio furniture are covered in a film of yellow pollen dust and my head is spinning out of control from all of the girls social commitments (birthdays, holidays, playdates, yada yada). Here a few pics of their smiley faces.

Ring Around the Rosies Princess Style

Big Big girl bed. When we set it all up she said "Mom, I love it! Look Dad, there are two pillows so you can sleep with me!"

Zayda and Cheryl

Sienna and Scarlett had a blast with Zayda and Cheryl these past few days! Sienna is now using some of Zayda's catch phrases with Scarlett. When Scarlett is crying Sienna will say "Hey! There is no crying in baseball!" When he bought her Ariel Barbie #3 she said "I will introduce her to her sisters at home." And one of the sweetest things I thought she did was one morning she woke up and normally the first thing she says is about what she wants to eat but instead she asked "Is Zayda awake yet? When is he coming to play??"

Rio in 3D (She looks so excited...)

When she came home from the movie she ran into the house and announced "I loved it! It was amazing!"

Dancing Queen

This girl loves to boogie! Anytime she hears anything that sounds like music, she will stop what she is doing to clap and dance. Shake it Scarlett!!

Candid Comments

Oh the things they'll say!
It's that time again! I thought I would share with you some of Sienna's funny and random comments. She surprises me on a daily basis.
  • "Let's hid over her so mom will get frustrated."
  • "Sienna, what is your favorite thing about me?" "That you're chubby!" while squeezing my cheeks
  • "This is my pet lamb 'Coochie'"
  • While walking behind the grocery cart, "I feel like I'm on a treadmill."
  • "This is so delicate!" While playing with play dough

One day this week, I told Sienna that I wasn't feeling well. When Scarlett woke up from her nap and started crying Sienna heard her and said "Oh Scarlett, what am I going to do with her?" I truly believe that since I wasn't feeling well, she thought she had to take care of Scarlett. Oh my sweet girl....

Oh one more thing... We went to buy a full size mattress today for Sienna since she is just getting too big for her toddler bed. We told the salesman that we just wanted a basic mattress since it was for a three year old. He looked at her and told her to try it out. My diva said "This is nice but look at this one!" and proceeded to lay on the most expensive one they had. At least she has good taste.
A friend of ours sent us these hand made dresses. The girls were more than excited to try them on and model.

Look at this great deal! When you buy a ridiculously priced build-a-bear you get a smiley baby for free!

Boot Camp Mama
I'm not going to sit here and say "I'm doing boot camp, I'm so healthy!" but my first week of boot camp was such an eye opener. The first couple days killed me (got nauseous at one point...)  but I finished the week feeling great! Apparently, the combination of me not being a morning person and some inner competitiveness creates a pretty funny inner monologue:) I found my self thinking "Um there is no way she already did 20 of those!!" or "Watch out Mama, I can't let you beat me!" (running the mile) My crazy self would see my own shadow and think someone was gaining on me so I would  run faster. Oh and btw, if you need good workout music (or cleaning, or just dancing in your living room) I love the new Brittany Spears album. Now I need to tackle my love for sweets and anything fried! I can't imagine fried cheesecake, pizza and m&ms are going to help me reach my goals...

Here is my goal. You gotta set the bar high, right? Really high!! (that's Kelly Ripa btw)

Social Butterflies

Hmm, What to write about this week... Normally it's all about the girls and their adventures but Hubby and I had some adventure of our own this week so I'll share those too! Right now Hubby is taking a well deserved break at a hockey game with friends and my sis and her boyfriend. I say well deserved because he stayed with the girls both Friday and Saturday night while I went out to be a social butterfly. Hey, even Momtini needs to get dressed up and enjoy a margarita right?? (Love you Hubby!)
My lovely ladies. Sorry I'm not in this one. Someone had to take it:)

Now to the stars of the show... I love my beautiful daughters! We just had a little girls night out of our own. I took them to a little place by our house for dinner and they were just too sweet. Sienna talked to me like she was 10 and Scarlett loves her new independence sitting in a high chair. Sienna is feeling pretty good except as soon as we step outside she starts itching and rubbing b/c of the allergies. Yuck!

I wasn't around when these two pictures were taken but I imagine it went like this... "Daddy take a picture of me with all my princesses! Ok now I'll take one of you!" She is such the photographer

Oh and drum roll please....(ok maybe that's a little dramatic) Scarlett is 9 months now! I can't believe it. How does is go by so fast? She is working on her second tooth and is the fastest little crawler ever. She also loves to pull up on anything she can reach which has made her bedtime that much harder. Most of the time she pops up to the side of the bed as soon as I put her down and screams at me. Fun times! She babbles a few words like Dada, hey and hi. As a matter of fact tonight at dinner she was trying to get this guy's attention at the table next to us by saying very sweetly "Hiiiiiiiii" Oh dear....
"Here are my teeth."

"Cheese!"

"Hi!"
BTW I start a boot camp workout program tomorrow at 5:30am! Wish me luck. I think just getting there will be the biggest challenge:)
