Happy Happy Birthday on your special day....

My first day of 1st grade

Well my dreaded 30th birthday came and was FANTASTIC! My hubby surprised me with a trip to San Antonio for the weekend with my amazing family and friends. We first stopped at The River Pub in San Marcos where we went to college and enjoyed a yummy lunch on the San Marcos River. We were so blessed with beautiful weather since it had snowed the day before.... After a short trip to the outlet mall, we headed to the River Walk in San Antonio. I felt like a queen staying in the new Embassy Suites on the River. We had a blast eating out, going to bars, walking the river walk  and dancing!! When we got home, the girls, Mark and I enjoyed a quiet day at home for one last celebration.

**Warning** Mushy Post
Up until my birthday, I was so worried about getting older and losing my 20's but now I have realized that I would never trade what I have now for my 20's. I can't believe how lucky I am to have so many friends that I truly love spending time with and a huge family that makes me feel special on a daily basis. It's not about the "things" I have but instead it's the moments that make you laugh and smile and maybe even cry. So bring on the mom jeans and Mickey Mouse sweat shirts, I'll sport them with a smile! I'm excited about my 30's and all the moments that make me who I am.

Thank you for making this such a special birthday for me!!
