Fun times!

We just got back from our big Jersey shore trip. We couldn't have asked for a better trip! We are so blessed to be able to spend time with so much family that we don't often get to see. Sienna was a daredevil and rode all kinds of roller coasters, water slides and couldn't be pulled from the ocean for anything. Scarlett showed her true diva colors and thought she ran the show most if the time. She wanted to stay up late every night in fear she would miss something.

Now that we are home, the count down is on until we meet baby Giada. We are all getting really excited but we are looking forward to some quiet weeks until our family of four becomes five..

Happy Birthday Scarlett! You are officially a 2 year old!

 

We had a blast today spoiling our little sassy pants. As if we don't spoil her enough:) She was wiped out after the bounce house, train ride, park and a birthday cake. I always say this but I still can't believe how fast she is growing up. We are just so in love with her loud and crazy personality and she is constantly making us laugh. 

We love you so much Scarlett and are so truly blessed to have you in our lives!

Port Aransas!!

We just got back from a great little beach trip to Port Aransas with Papa and Cookie:) We all had so much fun especially the girls. This was basically Scarlett's first experience since she was only 7 weeks old the last time we went. They both cracked me up with how much they wanted to be in the water. Sienna was all about boogie boarding and Scarlett would lay in the waves and let them carry her around. Sienna wanted to know everything about the ocean and all it's creatures. I did my best to answer all of her questions about anemones, mussels, and whatever else she came up with. The girls loved listening to all of Papa and Cookie's stories about "way back when" I'm not sure why but the girls really bonded during this trip. They have always been close but so many times I would find them play and talking together. At one point Sienna told me "I want to be with Scarlett forever!" Don't worry you will:)

Scarlett's 2nd Birthday!

Even though Scarlett doesn't turn two until next weekend we spent this weekend showering her with attention, gifts and of course sweets! At first, I don't think she had any idea that all of our family and friends were getting together for her but by the end of the weekend she seemed to come running if she heard the word birthday and would then start asking for "my cake". She was all smiles and crazy laughs through the whole birthday party and weekend. She had a blast playing at the Little Gym with all her buddies! We are so grateful to be surrounded by so many wonderful friends and family. Thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate Scarlett's birthday!!

I had to post this to show what Sienna thinks of Hubby and to share a tidbit about Scarlett today...

At the pool today I tried to tell Scarlett that i had a baby in my tummy (she is clueless). She first said "baby in suesuit (swimsuit)?" Then she said "baby hide and seek?" Right as we were leaving the pool she stopped and patted her tummy and said "baby in my swimsuit" haha! I guess she is still too young to grasp that one...

Father's Day

Ok I guess I'm just going to write every holiday at this point. I don't know why its gotten so hard for me to post stuff but here is a little tid bit of whats going on in our world...

First priority, Happy Father's Day to my dad, my amazing Hubby, Pop, Pops and Zayda! Every single one of you play such an important role in our family's life. The girls and I had fun today spoiling Hubby and wishing all those special dads in our lives a Happy Father's Day. After a busy day of church, lunch, shopping and a movie, we finished the day in our backyard grilling and playing. What a great day!

So Hubby is officially off for the summer! We are so excited to have him home to just hang out and go to the pool. I love this feeling when it seems like we have forever to spend together before he goes back to work:) The pregnancy is going well. I think I'm 26 weeks. ( I can barely keep track) Its funny how the third time around, I have had barely a chance to think about being pregnant since I'm chasing these crazy monkeys all the time. I start getting sonograms regularly starting next month which is always fun to see her growing.

We have a lot coming up so hopefully I can post more soon!

Mother's Day

Sienna actually wanted to take a Mother's Day pic with me. She was so sweet and kept telling me how great I was. She even asked if it could always be Mother's Day. I love this girl!

Oh how I love this crazy rascal! This was the only picture I could get of her and she only posed for this one so she could show off her Krispy Kreme Doughnut hat. Her Mother's Day gift to me was that she could not be peeled off Hubby's side all weekend. Which meant only he was permitted to change her diapers, wipe her face, put her to bed etc. She did save some hugs for me though:)

Happy Mother's Day! I'm so proud to be the mother of these two Darling Divas! We had a blast celebrating Mother's Day in Dallas but of course I wish I could have been two places at one time to celebrate with my own Mom.

Mom, thank you for everything you do for me and my family! We are so blessed to have you in our lives and so close:)
